A Message for November
Recently I saw the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Fm.Gov. Howard Dean speak in Delaware and I would like to pass on his message. We need to build our Democratic base through working on local campaigns. A difference can be made through working for Democratic candidates throughout the country. We need to take back state houses throughtout this nation. A way we can build a base in the south is too invest a lot of time in local campaigns such as mayor, school board, city council, state house and senate, etc. With our weak base in the south this is extremely important for the Democratic Party, we haven't done enough locally therefore when it comes to the south we have been loosing. So if we simply tell it like it is, and relay a message of pro middle class, pro balanced budget, pro education, and pro end to the war in Iraq, we take back this country, one county at time. It is time we stop writing off states like Nebraska, Mississippi, Alabama, and Kansas, and start putting them on our radar screen. We need to bring people of all spectrums to our party so we can return to the days of JFK, FDR, Scoop Jackson, and Harry Truman, because that is the real Democratic Party, Pro People. We need to listen to our chairman and start getting active. Go to www.democrats.org, find your local Democratic Party website and get going!
